Q: How old does a child have to be to attend a 4K program?A: State law states that "students may enter 4K kindergarten in the public schools of this State if they will attain the age of four on or before September 1st of the applicable school year." Q: Who is eligible to attend 5K programs?A: Attendance is mandatory and compulsory for five-year-olds.
